Wow, exactly a year.

So, one year has passed since my last blog post, and well I am no where near the place in my life I thought I would be this time last year.  

I am working for pops and things are going well there.  No band, at all, in fact barely any musical equipment at all.....

As for cycling, I am going to be getting my new bike done here pretty soon.  Cant wait for that..... 

Lots of fixed riding this summer, it'll be fun.

Uh yeah, change of plans, major change of plans.

So pretty much as of now I am the new rythm guitarist for It Prevails. Crazy. I know. Woo hoo for throwing down a ton of cash on new gear! I am still planning on doing the bike tour, it will just be put on the back burner for awhile. Seeing as I have a month to prepare for a 2 and a half month long tour with It Prevails, who just so happens to be signed to Rise Records. Crazy I know. I am just starting to learn the songs that we will be playing on tour so I am driving myself crazy with worry and excitement. I dont know how this is all going to work out, but I have a good feeling it will. I know that God has a plan for me, and even if I somehow mess this up, it will all end up ok. PTL for faith in God. And pretty much Into The Wild, is the best book/movie ever. Period.

So stoked for the cycling tour. Plus work updates.

Derek Salo and I are planning on going on a cycling tour with one of our buddies Nick Geller(See solongjourney.blogspot.com) I should be getting my bike, or at least ordering it in the next few days. Google Felt F90, its pretty.

Derek and I are also setting up our workout routines; Cardio on days 1, 3, and 5, and alternating upper body and lower body on days 2, 4, and 6. 4 being the upper day.

We will be planning on doing anywhere from 35 mile to 65 mile day jaunts for 22 days. That will take us to Venice Beach, we may go farther. Then we plan on taking the train back. I am stoked, totally going to photoblog the WHOLE thing. Its going to be expensive, about 2500 all together, that is from bike start and equipment to finish with food and train ticket back. I can NOT wait and I wish we were ready to go next month, I so would.

Derek also mentioned a second trip too... very exciting.

As for work..... I put in my two weeks on monday, and I am currently looking for a new job. Something with nighttime delivery or something good like wine or beer delivery truck. Something that pays WAY better than Kadels. Just about all my criteria.
